Eagle Scout Troop designs, builds and donates benches for tennis courts.
Eagle Scout Troop 69 spent 128 man/hours designing and building benches for tennis players at Woodside Park. Alan Wu, WTC junior member, spearheaded the project. The two benches were given to Park and Rec Supervisor Jeff Sissom at Woodside Park tennis courts on Dec 21, 2011. Alan and his Eagle Scout Troop had noticed tennis players had no place to sit between sets at Woodside Park and thought the benches would be appreciated.
From all the tennis players of Woodland ... to Eagle Scout Troop 69 ... Thanks!
